Lush Beauty Haul

While stuck in Boston {See my Travel Struggle}, I went shopping at Chestnut Hills Shopping Center. They have Vineyard Vines, Kate Spade, Bloomingdales, Sephora, a Cheesecake Factory and most importantly, Lush.

Lush is an amazing store that has so many pluses just for shopping there.

  1. There is no animal testing involved, they are even fighting against it.
  2. They are all made by real people and they even tell you who and when.
  3. There products have little to no synthetic material in them. {See here}
  4. The entire team is devoted to ethical buying practices. {Which as a business major is an amazing thing in today’s business world}
  5. Everything they make is environmentally friendly! {All containers are made one 100% BPA-free, post-consumer recycled products.
  6. They regularly donate to grassroots charities {Since 2007, they have donated close to $3 million to Charity Pot and with their soap called FUN, they donate 2.5% of sales to Lush FunD}.

These are just some of the amazing reasons you should shop there. Not to mention, there products are incredible and smell amazing. They also have cute little sayings on them that always put a smile on my face.

The first product I found was the “Beautiful” Shower Gel. “You’ve got to get up every morning with a smile on your face. And show the world how beautiful you are” Also take a sneak peek at the “How-To” 🙈

The second product I found were the yummy bath bombs {a must}. The first one that I found was twilight. “Watch the night unfold” This one I am very excited to try, it fizzes causing the pink exterior to melt away, creating a purple stream, followed by a deep indigo color filled with shimmering stars.

The other bath bomb is called Frozen, based off of the movie of course! It “spills out snowdrifts of plastic-free silver luster”. Filled with neroli and rose oil it’s bound to fill you with sunshine and melt away you icy mood.

Lastly, I got the Mint Julips Lip Scrub. It is made from castor sugar and when you’re done scrubbing, it leaves a coat of organic jojoba oil to protect your lips. This I was very excited to buy as I have been looking into for actual years. In the winter my lips are always peeling and gross, which makes wearing lipstick pretty much impossible, this will make it worth buying every color lipstick I could want!

  • I’m 100 percent a Lush fan, and I’ve only recently started buying some of their bath and shower products (I was mainly using their skin care products – which I love!). Even bought my first bath bomb last week (Over & Over), which I’m very excited about. The Frozen bath bomb looks lovely, and I’d never say no to a bit of rose oil. Sounds fantastic.
